Answers the deadline question: “30 business days from today” — what date is that? Weekends and public holidays are skipped.
The start date itself is not counted. Counting forward from Thursday 18 June 2026 in the United States, the next business day is Monday 22 June 2026, because Friday 19 June is Juneteenth and the weekend is skipped — so “1 business day after 18 June 2026” is 22 June 2026.
Working backwards uses the same rule in reverse. If a range crosses a year boundary the holidays of both years are applied.
