5 long weekends
A long weekend here means three or more rest days in a row that include at least one national public holiday falling on a weekday. In Mexico in 2027 that happens 5 times: 01 Jan–03 Jan (3 days), 30 Jan–01 Feb (3 days), 13 Mar–15 Mar (3 days), 30 Apr–02 May (3 days), 13 Nov–15 Nov (3 days). Weekends alone do not count — the streak must contain a public holiday that removes a working day.
| Dates | Days off | Caused by | Holiday pages | Month working-day count |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Fri 01 Jan – Sun 03 Jan | 3 | Año Nuevo | New Year's Day | January 2027 count |
| Sat 30 Jan – Mon 01 Feb | 3 | Día de la Constitución | Constitution Day | January 2027 count |
| Sat 13 Mar – Mon 15 Mar | 3 | Natalicio de Benito Juárez | Benito Juárez's birthday | March 2027 count |
| Fri 30 Apr – Sun 02 May | 3 | Día del Trabajo | Labour Day | April 2027 count |
| Sat 13 Nov – Mon 15 Nov | 3 | Día de la Revolución | Revolution Day | November 2027 count |
The rest days are Saturdays, Sundays and the national public holidays listed on the Mexico 2027 holiday list. Where a holiday falls on a weekend, only substitute days that appear in that list extend a streak; the site does not invent substitute days.
