A long weekend here means three or more rest days in a row that include at least one national public holiday falling on a weekday. In Netherlands in 2027 that happens 3 times: 01 Jan–03 Jan (3 days), 27 Mar–29 Mar (3 days), 15 May–17 May (3 days). Weekends alone do not count — the streak must contain a public holiday that removes a working day.
